Fire Safety and other fun!

We had some hands on learning last week when the Walker fire fighters came to talk to us about fire safety and show us their awesome fire truck. It truly is incredible how much they can do with their trucks! The students made many contributions to our discussions and answered their questions knowledgeably. I was proud of them!

Here we are sporting our neckties and necklaces!

Nice neck-wear!

We made "the" headbands to celebrate learning how to read and write THE famous word! (We say it's so famous because it is in almost every sentence!)
